1. Is it expensive to have a granite/marble countertop for my kitchen?
Not at all, it all depend on the square foot price for the material. Beside granite/marble countertop offers an upscale appearance in your kitchen, good idea!

2. Do I need an appointment to come down to A&G showroom?
No appointment is necessary in weekday from 8 am to 5 pm. Saturday 10 am to 2 pm; appointment required.

3. Can you describe the process of ordering with your company?
First, the client picks a stone, after that we give the client an estimate based on the specific units of the project. Then an order can be placed for the template. By the time the template is made, our clients can expect fabrication/installation done in 2 to 3 weeks depend on the project size.

4. Where is A&G Marble?

5. What is your payment policy?
A&G Marble Inc. accept cash, certified checks and all major credit card. If payment is made by personal check, work will be started once the check is cleared.

Granite Question?

1. What is the thickness for a granite countertop?
1 1/4" thick for kitchen countertops and 3/4" thick for bathroom vanity tops.

2. Will my granite countertop color look like the sample?
Granite is a natural material with variation of color tone, texture and pattern. The color and pattern may not be uniform. But this is the beauty of natural stone.

3. How do I clean my granite countertop?
Granite countertop is a very durable. Daily washing of your granite countertop with warm water and soft non-abrasive cloth, this will keep your countertop in good condition. If you need to apply any cleaning product to remove stain and dirt, you can clean granite surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Then dry the granite with a soft cloth. If you're not sure if the cleaning product is neutral, just be sure to avoid anything that contains ammonia, lemon, lime, orange or vinegar.

4. Does granite stain?
Granite is almost 100% stain resistant, however granite still has very little porosity. Most colors will never show any moisture but some colors may appear at first to be a stain; many dark areas on the countertop will dry and disappear over time.

5. Does granite burn?
No, granite is an igneous rock that formed by extreme heat and pressure. It can not be affected by heat from a cook top or frying pan.

6. Can granite chip or damage?
No, granite is very durable and regular use will not harm this very hard material. Only high impact blows with hammer or impact tool can damage granite. Do not throw out the chipped pieces if chips occur in your countertop. We can use them to fix the countertop, so nobody can tell it was chipped.

7. Can granite be repaired?
Granite is very hard to be damaged. However, in case of any damage occurs it can be sealed with a mixture of epoxy and ground up chips of granite.

8. What is the difference between granite and marble?
One major different between granite and marble is granite is a highly dense material composed deeply inside the earth and marble is formed from sediments under the seabed. Also, granite is formed by many minerals and marble is composed mostly by calcite.
